Customs

Jim Johnstone and Cactus Press have just released my latest chapbook. It's called "Customs" and it has it's providence in the story of Louis Sam, a Sto:lo boy who was lynched in Sumas in 1884. There's lots more to say about this story and about the book and I'll do a proper post soon, but for now I wanted to link to Jim's blog and offer these images of the book and info on how to order it. I also have copies I'd be happy to sell you if you're in Vancouver or the Comox Valley. Proceeds go back to Cactus Press so they can continue their micro-publishing ventures. Chapbooks, micro-publishing, and DIY are the life-blood of young writers in this country. Probably in any country. I hope you'll join me in supporting Cactus Press. jimjohnstone.wordpress.com/
